Areas of expertise:

- Proficient knowledge of C#
- An understanding of game design
- Keen interest in designing systems for gameplay

A plus:

- Skills in other languages such as C++ and PHP
- Setting up Materials and selecting shaders in Unity3D
- NGUI (Unity HUD Plugin) experience
- Able to work with and keep track of multiple files in our project
- Experience with networking code with Ulink for Unity3D
- Experience with physics and collision systems

- A portfolio will really help you stand out

Location

Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Must be either in Edmonton or willing to re-locate as this is an in-house full time position. You will be responsible for creating new gameplay content and arranging existing content in more customizable ways. Such content would be further refinements to our existing gameplay systems, implementing new objects, tools, vehicles, etc.

QA Tester Needed (Contract) - Posted March 27th 2014

Areas of expertise:

- Have great understanding of what makes games fun
- Played hundreds of games
- Enjoy deep RPG games and have an understanding of player progression
- Can organize a full bug library on Jira
- Enjoy working in a team environment and willing to create bug tasks based off team input

A plus:

- Skills in any other areas including programming, art creation, etc.
- Unity3D experience
- Able to work with and keep track of thousands of bug reports in our project

Location

Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Must be either in Edmonton or willing to re-locate as this is an in-house temporary fulltime, contract position. You will be responsible for testing StarForge and tracking any bugs you or the online StarForge community finds.
